Home workout for busy people

I know how busy this time of year gets.  Sometimes getting to class just isn’t on the cards.  However, you don’t have to commit to a long workout to reap the benefits.  Even just a bit of movement can re-energise you and make you feel good.

Here is a simple 20 minute workout that you can do from the comfort of your living room.

 20 minute home workout

Warm-Up (3 minutes)

30 seconds of each move:

Jumping jacks

High knees

Arm circles (small to big)

Circuit (12 minutes)

Complete 2 rounds, 1 minute per move with 15 seconds of rest between each exercise:

1. Bodyweight Squats – Builds leg and glute strength.

2. Push-Ups (on knees if needed) – Works your chest, shoulders, and triceps.

3. Glute Bridges – Strengthens the glutes and core.

4. Plank Hold – Core stability

5. Reverse Lunges – Tones legs and improves balance.

6. Superman – Strengthens back and improves posture.

 Cool-Down & Stretch (5 minutes)

Finish off with gentle stretches to relax the muscles:

Hamstring stretch

Shoulder stretch

Cat-Cow stretch for your back

Want that extra push? 🌟

If you’re ready to take things up a notch, my Online Strength class might be just for you! It is 30 mins early on a Friday morning.  You need two dumbells (4kg or 5kg are perfect) a mat and a clear space.  Not only can you join live but you will get the recording so you can do again and again and AGAIN 😊   Kim xx
